Since Tuesday, November 12, the airline Congo Airways has received a new Boeing 737 aircraft, acquired on lease.

Its capacity is more than 174 seats including 12 in business class.
Through an official press release, the Ministry of Transport and Communications indicated that the first flight of this aircraft is scheduled for this Friday, November 15.
The first destinations announced are Kinshasa-Kindu and Kinshasa-Lubumbashi round trip.
This ministry announced the arrival of another plane which should be made available by the National Social Security Fund (CNSS).
Sources from Congo Airways indicate that steps are underway to facilitate the imminent arrival of other aircraft to strengthen the Congo Airways fleet.
Moreover, a second aircraft could join the fleet by the end of November if the talks are successful.
A delegation from Congo Airways is travelling abroad this week to clarify a controversy over the $1.4 million paid for the lease of an aircraft that has not yet been delivered.
