Congolese journalist Christian Lusakueno, Managing Director and founder of Top Congo FM radio, was awarded this Saturday in Brussels during the 10th edition of the Rebranding Africa Forum. Lusakueno received the prestigious Rebranding Africa Media Leadership Award, which honors leading African personalities whose actions contribute to the development of the continent.

Congolese journalist Christian Lusakueno, Managing Director and founder of Top Congo FM radio, was awarded this Saturday in Brussels during the 10th edition of the Rebranding Africa Forum. Lusakueno received the prestigious Rebranding Africa Media Leadership Award, which honors leading African personalities whose actions contribute to the development of the continent.

A distinguished journalist, recognized for his professionalism and influence in the media landscape of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Lusakueno was awarded this prize in tribute to his significant contribution to the evolution of the media sector in Africa.

Other award winners were honoured at the event. MP Lydia Mutyebele won the Rebranding Africa Empowering Women Award for her leadership in the Brussels associative and political world, as well as her commitment to the African and Caribbean diasporas. Judith Suminwa Tuluka, Prime Minister of the DRC, was also honoured for her exemplary leadership, inspiring many women across the country and the continent.

The Rebranding Africa Forum, whose 11th edition will be held from October 9 to 12, 2025, will focus on the challenges and opportunities of artificial intelligence for Africa.
